Project Description: For this study, RStudio libraries sf (simple features) to encode spatial vector data, tmap to develop thematic maps, ggplot2 to plot data, dplyr to manipulate data, geojsonsf to convert simple features, and reshape2 to format the data. This project was used to explore different mapping techniques and visualizations. In this work it was found that the most 311 calls in Denver were coming from Five Points county, following with areas such as Stapleton, Montebello, Green Valley Ranch, Capitol Hill, Speer, and West Colfax. Among these areas, throughout all seasons, Encampment Reporting was the highest reason for calling. Although is is noticeable that during the winter months Snow Removal Complaints spiked and during the Summer months weeds/vegetation violation spiked.
