Project Description:  For this work, RStudio was used with the digital libraries dplyr for data manipulation. ggplot2 to plot data, and waffle to develop the waffle chart in order to better understand the population composition and changes between a growing city (Colorado Springs, CO), and a declining city (Buffalo, NY). As found from the visualizations above, Colorado Springs is growing at a more rapid and consistent pace than of the comparison, Buffalo, NY. There is also a noticeable difference in the population composition, Colorado Springs has much more citizens that are white alone, than that of Buffalo. Although, Buffalo is seen to have higher populations of black or African American alone as well as Asian alone.
